After more than seven months, we came back to Italy for a long holiday. The day before taking the flight was my birthday, that I passed for the first time in my life with the tropical sun and remembered with a picture taken on our terrace in India. After a not so confortable journey of about 24 hours, we arrived in Genova. I thought that all would seem different, but the sensation was of a short absence. The only sensible difference was the weather, just about twenty degrees less than what we used to have until the day before. We stayed more than two weeks in Genova, spent with walks in the city centre, friends, abundance of food, serenity. Despite of Christmas holidays, we felt to walk in a desert and I tried again the pleasure to take a bus without being squashed like a tuna fish in the small box. Silence, to walk on the streets without checking continuosly where you are walking. Parents, Christmas with your own family, smiles, hugs. Now we are in Rovigo, and we will stay here for two weeks before coming back to India. Food is still plentiful, strolls less habitual due to the biting cold. Days pass in full relax and we are waiting for other pleasant meetings with friends. We closed a chapter and when we will come back another one will be opened. The long pause forestalls new pages. The sensation is always to have done the best choice. I will come back to India with new ideas, new forces, new energy. Life has changed and this was the first goal. We will see.
Vedremo.
